It's one of the few things about Kerry that I admire. Not simply throwing away those worthless pieces o metal, but talking about the atrocities committed by the pieces of excrement who murdered women and children. It's a shame more service members did not have the moral courage to disclose the atrocities committed in Vietnam.

It's never too late! We should skip the important aspects of job experience and political acumen and intelligence and give the Secretary of State position directly to...

you would be right except for one thing. Kerry lied about the atrociteis..........He made it ALL up
Ah, more right-wing "logic." You see, kids, if he ailed to report atrocities at the time, but reported them later, that means he must have been lying about it.
Aces, kid!
So, in other words, you have nothing to validate your assertion that he was lying. Got it.
Again, Righties lust for blood and money and prefer Attila The Hun as Secretary of State ...war is good for them, profitable, so they really really want someone who is all out pro war ...
I am not a "leftie"........consider myself an independent........ This time I voted for Obama.......... last time McCain..............
Bottom line? Kerry is a known liar, who committed what I consider treason.........He lied about his "brothers in arms" commiting atrocities...............in other words he spit on his brothers...........NO. I do not want someone like that in any government position............
A decorated war veteran is a POS, you are showing your true colors and the respect you have for our soldiers.
Seems like you need a history lesson, Robert McNamara's "In Retrospect: The Tragedy and Lessons of Vietnam", seems like the protestors were on the right side of history and brought about an end to a senseless war, if not for them thousands more would have died.
It never ceases to amaze me that people like you harbor so much hatred for Kerry, Fonda and others while with not a whisper against government representatives that sent 50,000 18 year olds off to death in an absurd war. You are on the wrong side of history, but keep on with your treason rants while ignoring the obvious. Kerry had every right to throw his medals over the fence in protest, he earned that right.
And here we have an example of leftism, telling someone to read history to see who was on the right side of an issue.
History will tell you what happened, not what to think about what happened. What you've been reading is propaganda disguised as history.
Kerry did have every right to throw his medals over the fence. And we have every right to consider him a POS for doing so.
And while you're sitting there being amazed at people not agreeing with you, you might consider the fact that your opinions are not absolute truths. As foreign a concept as it might be to you, other people really are allowed to think what they want even if it differs from you.
And with this set of assertions you put the nail in the coffin of your discredit. If you actually claim to have actually seen such an event as an American soldier actually spit on when they come home, you are either hallucinating or a member of a community so exclusive that they have never been found to actually exist.
The story is by all evidence merely an Urban Legend.
That little statement got my attention. sorry to burst your bubble rastus.........but I was spit on while wearing my class "A's" walking through the airport in san francisco to catch my plane home after being processed at Oakland out of active duty.I had just spent a year in vietnam.Your posts til now have a common thread of "show me the Proof".............I am here to tell you it DID happen.......
At least be honest with yourself, if not the people on this forum.
You know for a fact that you never saw any such thing. Entire books have been written on the subject. Where have you been for thirty years?
I am content with your living with that knowledge, regardless of your lack of public candor. But I am curious... how old were you when this alleged event supposedly took place? Five?
see my previous post. Time you pulled YOUR cranium out of the nether regions........

Wrong again. I have the upmost respect for anyone who serves in combat. I was and still am horrified at how the 'Nam vets were treated for doing their job.
Yes, history proves that the anti-war protesters were right but that has little to do with the boys who faced up to their military obligations.
People "like me" should just forget the treason we saw go down? I don't think so. It is burned forever in my memory as it should be.
Jeff, God Bless you that you made it home. My late husband's view of people were drastically changed after the crude and rude way he was "welcomed" home.
Quentin Tarantino, Secretary of State. Bet he would have taken the call from Benghazi.
