The only member of SBVT who was actually present for the events after which Kerry was awarded the Silver Star, Larry Clayton Lee, praised Kerry's tactics and agreed completely that he deserved his Silver Star.

It is a complete lie to assert that " the men who actually served with Kerry said he did not deserve those decorations."
If people knew anything about Vietnam they would realize how absurd it is for 250 soldiers to remember a particular person that served with them for a year, 40 years later 250 so called soldiers claim they knew all these details. Give Karl Rove credit, he knows how to manipulate the naive voters and they ran with this.

Think about this, 250 soldiers knew John Kerry even though he was only in Vietnam for 4 months but almost nobody knew George Bush when he served for years in the national guards, including his commanding officer.

The dems are some of the biggest hypocrites around.

As many of them complain about repubs, I hate to break the bad news but, Bush did serve and got an Honorable Discharge, I'd be willing to bet you and many other grippers voted for Biden, twice and he got 5 deferments.

So, what is your REAL point?

Yes I did. And then I explicitly mentioned Steve Garder by name as the sole exception.

Your reading comprehension is worse than that of any other individual in this thread.

Much more heroic than, you know, fighting for your country in Vietnam.
Another one. You are WARE, i DOUBT IT, that Biden got 5 deferments also. AND you probably voted for him twice.

Too bad this describes none of Kerry's four combat injuries, three of which earned him the Purple Heart.
