So, the laws have passed now banning or placing greater restrictions on owning guns. Suddenly there are a rash of home invasions in your neighborhood and all you are allowed to own is a small handgun. What do you do when this group of criminals with unregistered assault weapons busts down the front door of your house? How is your handgun going to fend off 5 guys with a various arsenal of guns coming through your door?

I'm for allowing shotguns and long rifles, banning assault rifles, requiring a pyshc eval and license to own a handgun. The license would require a clean criminal record other than traffic offenses. All guns would be required to be stored in a federally approved gun safe locked at all times..

When gang bangers and creepy 15 year olds can not get hold of a firearm they take to stabbing...You know there is a shortage of illegal handguns when stabbings go up. In Toronto the cops do their best to clear the projects of handguns...Once they get most of the job done...There is always a rash of stabbings...How do you ban and control evil should be the question..concentrate on evil little bastards not on guns.

The same nuts who want to ban guns also don't want an electric fence/barrier created between the borders... Who's going to evaluate the criminals who are breaking into your house? Where are the criminals going to get them? That must be a joke right? Where do you think they get things now? It doesn't matter if law abiding people will no longer have guns in house or in a safe because criminals will find a way to get their hands on weapons regardless of the law.

You're naive, Bellhead. Places that have strict gun laws have some of the worst murder rates by gun in the country. Check out Washington DC, Chicago to name a few.
Criminals will ALWAYS be able to get guns if they want them. Gun control does not protect innocent people. It gives criminals free rein to commit their crimes.
