He didn't invalidate the law just that the formula needs to be updated. A nuance that went over your head.

There is no such thing as an afterlife. And even if there was, that is the one place where gay marriage would be permitted in all legal jurisdictions.

Many same sex couples have children, adopt children, raise children, and many heterosexual couples do not have children, adopt children, or raise children.
