How does this make you feel Lefties? You supported a faux Democratic revolution, after you were even told this would happen, in Egypt and elsewhere. Now look at what you need to lay down next to and be happy about your contribution. Seems that Egypt hurried up and voted on their ultra conservative Constitution where Sharia will rule the day. I hope you supporters are happy that women, gays and non-Islamics will now be oppressed and have their human rights nullified. Another progress trap that you people created.

It's their country and their religion, and modern day muslims have to work thru their own issues... which BTW, ain't ''helped'' by US intervention, including propping up dictators who are at least as repressive. Or didn't we learn anything from supporting the Shah of Iran, and Saddam, and Bautista, and Papa Doc, and the Junta in El Salvador, and ...?

Default asylum

We should offer asylum, including free transport and housing after they arrive, of any women and girls that want to escape the tyranny of little boys disguised as men that infest the entire region.

What would you have had the U.S. do, start a third middle east war in order to maintain an unpopular brutal dictator in power? Isn't that why you conservatives wanted us to invade Iraq, to rid the country of an unpopular brutal dictator?

The problem with democracy is that the people voting don't always choose the person that you want to win.

The person the EGYPTIANS wanted to win didn't even win. It was a rigged election.
