I do wonder what the nearly 140 million people that the Soviets and Mao put to death for not being progressive enough in their thinking would say about the numbers of people that communists and socialists have killed in one way or another. Do you think that they would agree with progressives of the US today?

Does he realize that Obama gave the orders to shut it down with armed police, and that most Occupiers don't like Obama?

So, the point is that extremists from the right (Nazis) and left (Communists) have done bad things, hmmmm, I thought you would have known this before now, weren't you a History teacher?
The good thing is Americans, as a whole, do not tolerate extremists from the left or from the right for long.

Hard to tell, considering that at least 60 million of them appear to be imaginary. The best estimate of deaths under Stalin is about 30 million, and about 50 million for Mao. So where you came up with an additional 75% is a bit of a puzzle. But no matter.
Other than that, its still a pretty stupid question. What would they think about themselves being killed?

I don't know where you were when Obama came out in support of the OWS movement as a grand example of democratic activity but maybe you were in bed all day that day.
Maybe Obama said, "So NO" instead of what this video shows him saying. Notice two things on this video. It took him only 40 seconds to get around to answering the woman's question and the fact that Think Progress pui the video out.
