If you want to remain viable it's called ethics. If your argument is that banks have absolutely no obligation to act ethical, you can own that arguement. It's not a very good one.
There was nothing immoral, or unethical about making loans to people that the government wanted, and demanded..
Don't hold your breath, they are the puppet masters and pull the strings of both parties.
Banking has basically become a high stakes casino industry in which the tax payers cover the loses and the banks take in the winnings.
Government continues to pick more winners and losers, while you demand it take place, and the whine about the results. Next will be insurance companies.. yeah, nothing bad gonna happen there..

Nor is that what this video is about......but in the end your argument fails anyway. It is unethical to put those who place their money in your care in the position the banks did. They used their money for investments the banks knew were going to fail.

I'm against bailouts and other forms of corporate welfare, unlike you. I say let them fail.
Government picks the winners, which is corporate America, and picks the losers, which is the middle class. You are happy with the results, so no whining on your part.

Its not unethical to loan you money, if some other fool is going to guarantee it. If you think its a bad loan, DONT GUARANTEE IT. When you guarantee it, your credit becomes whats important, not the borrowers..
It would be unethical NOT to make the loan with AAA+ credit guarantors guaranteeing them.

I also said let them fail, but unlike you, I said dont ask to guarantee the dam things to begin with, and dont demand people do business with them and then whine about the results.

If I was happy with the results, I wouldnt have been spending money to fight programs you demand, like Obamacare.. You stand here all day long and whine about big corporations and their influence on one thread, and then the very next thread you attack people who oppose government getting in bed with corporations using such things as, hate for the poor, blacks, old people,
blah blah blah..
non stop lefties, all you guys do is whine about how we have problems that only government can fix, and then you whine about the results when the govenrment "fix", collapses..

Goldman Sachs sold securities backed by loans that they knew were going to fail and then bet against them all while assuring people that they were solid bets.
