Just wondering why we "hate President Bush" but not a word is mentioned about congress?
There is a FAR bigger problem than President Bush and the problems in this country run FAR deeper than the support/don't support Pres. Bush argument.
I can think of one main problem, illegal immigrants. Major problem, nothing solved nor will it be for the forseeable future. Major Problem. This country is so divided that if President Bush misspeaks, it is jumped on by the media like it is some problem that might end the world.
I will state that I am a President Bush supporter and think he definitely has the right mindset for the current situation we find ourselves in.
Do I think everything he has done is correct? Of course not, but he has a hell of a lot more, how do I put it, "balls" or "stick to it ness" than anyone else who could have been elected. Which I will say is a mighty good thing.
For all you President Bush bashers, and I ask this in all seriousness. Do you not find it at all alarming that when Usama (not to be confused with Obama, hence the media's sudden change in pronunciation of Osama) Bin Laden releases tapes it sounds alarmingly similar to the Democratic party of this country?
Now I am NOT trying to start some sort of Republican Democratic argument. I am just curious as I have never really heard an answer as to how you feel about your talking points being very similar.
But here I thought tolerant, compassionate, open-minded, warm-and-fuzzy Liberals were the ones always telling us that we should NEVER hate... that hate is NOT a family value, etc.

Yeah, I was thinking about that title, too. Why couldn't it have been "101 Reasons Why We Disagree with Bush?
After all, it's okay to disagree with a President or a politician's policies, but it's not okay to hate. Unless the politician is Republican, I suppose.

Actually a it's non-issue foisted by the top towards the base to rally support.

How many more troops must die for a policy that has not worked time and again. He keeps trying the same thing but should have noticed that after the third time, it does not work.
I was thinking after the 2006 elections, Bush would have said "The Terrorists have won!" Terrorists are people who do not agree with his ideology.

Funny how Osama gets his talking points from the DNC. Next thing ya know Michael Moore will be wearing a turban and sporting a long graybeard. Someday these Moonbats will figure out the enemy does not live at 1600 Pennsylvania ave

No more alarming than 2+2=4, no matter who works the problem.

So a top general saying the strategy is working is something we should just ignore? I guess your right, though. Why wouldn't Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid know more about what is going on than General Petraeus.
This right here is part of the problem we are facing. People are so blinded by the "hate President Bush" mindset that you are absolutely blinded to all the good that is going on right now.
Do you people not see the position you have dug yourself in? No matter what anyone says, you are stuck with we are failing, pull out now, even though this seems to be the EXACT OPPOSITE of what is happening and what should be done.
I don't particularly like Rush Limbaugh but he has it pretty much nailed on the head when he says that Democrats can afford NOTHING but a defeat.

I am very curious about the terminology used in this discussion.

What would constitute "defeat" in Iraq?
Conversely, what would constitute "victory"?
Defeat would be packing it in right now and bringing the troops home. Defeat would be allowing a terrorist regime to take control (Iran, Al-Qaida, whomever it may be). The only way this happens is if we don't take the necessary time to stabilize the country. How long will this take? A very long time in all likelihood. Is it worth it for future generations? In my opinion, yes.
