This table lists the top donors to this candidate in the 2012 election cycle.

The organizations themselves did not donate , rather the money came from the organizations' PACs, their individual members or employees or owners, and those individuals' immediate families.

Organization totals include subsidiaries and affiliates.

President Obama

Mitt Romney

Newt Gingrich

Interesting.

So with Obama it's telecommunications and universities (no surprise, he's the favorite of intellectuals), Romney it's banks and investment firms (no surprise, he's a shill of the 1%) and Gingrich it's.....who? Amway?

Basically, companies that actually produce things, are going with Obama.

Banks and corporations that leach off the federal government in the form of handouts are going to the steaming pile of flip-flopping dung known as Romneybot.

Little mom and pop shops (relatively speaking) are going to Grinch. How cute.

How does the US Department of State get to contribute to Obama? Is that our tax money? I didn't know government agencies could contribute to election campaigns. Just seems wrong somehow.....

Actually Obama has received more donations from the Investment Corporation that Romney ran, than Romney..

Lets see now. Romneybot, Grinch are very fair names for left leaners to use when discussing politics but Obama is the proper name for the same people to use when discussing the left leaning president. I guess I see your point but since I lean a bit further right than you do I wonder about the double standard rules of he left.

Nice to see foreigners participating in American "free speech" system to influence elections. And to think we worry about those dead Americans voting.

I wondered about that one, also. It is very interesting to see that the State Department has offered about twice as much as any of the companies that have given to Gingrich.

I wonder what the amounts to Gingrich will grow to after South Carolina. I just heard Megyn Kelly announcing that Gingrich has slipped to the lead 33% to 31% in South Carolina over Romney. Zee plot she thickens.
