By the way, just in case you don't know, not every state recognizes another state's concealed carry permit and New York has some of the toughest handgun laws in America.
Bloomberg was mentioned in the link and Obama happens to be the one who is working "beneath the radar" according to what he said to Ms. Brady. I happen to have a thread about Obama and his beneath the radar comment on the board at this time.

I don't think that New York can charge the fool amounts when those people are licensed in other states. The jail sentence, possible, is worse yet until they tell those states what happens to their people if they conceal carry in New York so they can tell their people that New York does not recognize their law.

Does that make you an unreal American? I wonder why it is that I find the same stories you whine about in other sources just in case someone like you demands something that is the same. You should read something from The Blaze sometime to check how truthful they really are. You wlll never know if you continue to use that old left handed method of avoidance that allows all that bad mouthing.

It doesnt go far enough, states should have more powers and the fed less.
I knew that somebody would come up with what you say here so we could discuss state laws and whether states have to have Full Faith and Credit. Thanks for not being a lefty who did it. Lets see what some of them say in reply.

Who on the right objects to that?
Sure not me but you may find that the Full Faith and Credit Clause of the Constitution has something to do with it, also.

Why do folks feel the need to bring handguns to NYC in the first place?

It's a state law that has been there for many decades. Unless they are secret time traveling martians (please don't tell me if you do believe that) your paranoid conspiracy theories have gone past the deep end into Captain Insano territory.
In the link the name of Bloomberg was mentioned and I do have an operative thread about Obama and his desire to cut back gun ownership. Maybe he isn't doing that but he did tell Ms. Brady he was working "beneath the radar" to get more control. I sure sucked in some of you left leaners with that part and I was trying to do just that.

DOMA?? Would that be the law that Holder and Obama refused to uphold? Why I think that is about what they said.

If they are intelligent enough to apply for and obtain a conceal carry permit in their home state, they should be intelligent enough to understand that different states have different rules. It doesn't take a genius to figure that out. If you are traveling to another state, you have to follow the laws of that state. Just because one state has speed limits of 85 mph on interstate highways doesn't mean that every other state has the same laws. A child can understand that. This issue has nothing to do with Obama or Bloomberg. The State of New York has laws regarding guns that their citizens and visitors to the state are obligated to follow. If said citizens and visitors don't obey the laws, they are subject to being arrested, tried and penalized for not obeying the laws. And the same is true of every other state.
