This whole thread is ridiculous. No matter how much the government may want it, the citizens of our three countries would never let a WW3 happen.

As for that credit card, we only need it if we continue borrowing.

Your idea of China's economy (cheap crap, house of cards, etc.) is built on stereotypes and wishful thinking.

Some statistics:

The Chinese are intelligent people, they have long begun to develop and produce quality stuff. Like it or not, the Chinese will be a superpower, independently of any US boycotts. Better get used to the new world, the current change is only the beginning.

BWAHAHAHAHahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!

Like China or Russia would poll their citizens before a war,....or the United States for that matter.

Ever hear of the "Football"? It doesn't contain the latest Gallup poll re: nuclear war.

I'm afraid of pollution, global warming, the increasing number of species on the planet being pushed to the verge of extinction, and lack of food and clean water more than WWIII with China that these fringe websites on the internet are trying to proclaim.

So what makes you suspect the people of China and Russia have any more control of their government than we do?

You want to know how to win WWIII without ever firing a single shot?

Energy Independence

If we had it, we wouldn't be giving 2 sh*ts right now that Iran is threatening to cut off the Strait of Hormuz.

Imagine if we spent 2 trillion dollars investing in renewable and clean energy sources here at home instead of wasting lives and money in Iraq and Afghanistan. How many new jobs would a massive new green economy create? How many lives would we save by not having to fight ridiculous wars over oil? How much better for our own environment would it be? We could have been well on our way to energy independence 20 years ago if our past administrations pushed for it...instead we continue to waste huge amounts of tax payer dollars on stupid projects like "Star Wars" and missile defense ideas.

When Cheney was told the majority of Americans didn't think the war in Iraq was worth the cost his reply was: So?

What makes you think any of these 3 governments today is any more caring than that about their respective citizens' wishes?
