I don't know, I would never call someone an "Indian giver", I think it's pretty bad, especially considering what Native Americans have gone through in this country. Plus, I would never refer to a Native American as an "Indian". I don't ascribe to all of the ever-changing "politically correct" lingo, but to refer to a group of people by the name given to them by an idiot who did not even know what continent he was on is just plain wrong.
