Boondocks is not only one of the best animated shows! ITS ONE OF THE BEST ON TV. Living in a country where the majority thinks so low of Black people..Its refreshing to see a show created by a black man that holds the same irritations of ignorant blacks that everyone else has. I never thought the show was as good as it actually is. Look forward to season 4 & hopefully a feature film or season five.

Sad thing is, The Boondocks are one of the FEEEEEEEEW shows on TV that's actually worth watching since it's not another b.s. reality tv show or a stupid 'talk' show. Yet, you call it 'trash TV' or don't watch it because it has too much of the N-word in there. GROW UP, PEOPLE, you hear it every damn day.

It actually focuses on issues a lot of the black community (and America in general) ignores. It points out the stupidity in everyday lives and the screwjobs our ENTIRE government gives us everyday.

The MLK speach is probably the most memorable thing about it.

There is no such thing as politically incorrect.

Oh, the show has a very serious following. Those who watch the show totally understand the point of it and of a character like Uncle Ruckus. Basically, the people that tend to watch this show are the people that will understand the show.

Anything that's the "truth" is good in your eyes.

As far as the show, the creator didn't actually make it to be funny, his intention was to show blacks our faults as well as how the world looks at us and treats but he later admitted he gave up trying to send a message to blacks since the majority didn't get it.

I'm surprised he didn't realize how much he's cooning like Dave Chapelle and seek help, we all know what happened to old Dave lol.

What?

How do you know his intention was NOT to make it funny? What would be the point of having a show on [adult swim] since that's the main focus of all their shows?

Uncle Ruckus is detatched from reality. He is talking about how much he can't stand Black people, and he is Black. And that video about Uncle Ruckus, well, this is something else I have to say. In alot of places, Blacks couldn't sit on jury duty in 1957. Uncle Ruckus would have been treated no do different than other Black people.

I think its hilarious. One of the best shows on TV. I like the Wuncler boy and 'A pimp called Slickback'. The differences between Huey and Riley make me laugh as well. My vote doesn't count as I'm white, but his social commentary is pretty sharp.
