Last I checked, its head quarter was actually in the USA as an international organization.
It's physically in the US (Midtown East in Manhattan), however, once you enter the UN building, you're no longer in US territory because the UN is not governed by any single foreign entity. It's no different than the International Red Cross. It's headquartered in Geneva Switzerland, but it's not controlled by the Swiss.
WHY DO YOU THINK OBAMA TOOK THE SEAT FOR A DAY?? he didn't have to, so why did he?
Probably because it's an honor? The president of the Security Council rotates monthly among its member nations. Al Gore was president of the Security Council for a few days when he was Vice President of the US.

honor?..lol.. um...yeah..ok. that's usually the surface view.
if you can't answer, here's my opinon, to step on the Constitution and smile about it.
your opinion is?
Because he could. That doesn't prove anything you're trying to suggest here.

Technically like embassies, which also fall under international treaties.
Yes, it's international. The United States is one nation, sovereign. And is also a founding member of the United Nations. The Constitution is vital. But the United Nations has not power to "gray those sovereign lines", and no one has said that the United States is international at all.
I'd happily believe in a conspiracy if you had any proof of one. You haven't offered any proof. You've invested yourself in fear. But there's not substance to this conspiracy that you're afraid of. Please consider that. There is nothing to substantiate this conspiracy you are afraid of. You have no proof of a conspiracy, but rather, a bunch of "ifs" and "what-ifs". The President chaired a Security Council meeting once, a couple of years ago. That's scary, because???? Because you've been told a bunch of "what-ifs".
Being scared of an unsubstantiated conspiracy is like being scared of the dark. It's not the dark that is to be feared, because the dark has no substance. You need to find something substantive, something real, to be concerned about. Find proof of a conspiracy, not a bunch of "what-ifs" and share that. Because right now, other posters are just trying to shed some light in your darkness.
yeah um. sure...Houdini did magic tricks in plain sight too.
but hey, talk down all you want it means nada to me. I got a degree. I read and research and by all accounts Obama is a fraud. you can't see it because you're too jaded with "Yes We Can". I get it.
Maybe this is why everytime something goes wrong it's Bush's fault. I wonder when something will be Obama's fault? Is he too perfect?

So, everyone who disagrees with you is "too jaded with 'Yes We Can'"?
That makes it easy for you, doesn't it? Except for the fact that it's not true. But believing it's true releases you from the responsibility of substantiating your allegations. So you don't have to make an argument. You just assert your beliefs, and then abdicate the responsiblity of arguing why you believe.

That won't convince other people.
not at all. but I see the trend. defend obama at all costs. that's what I see on this topic. it'snot hard to tell. whether or not he "could' do it is not the point. respecting that document is.
you do reallize the reason you live the way you do is because of that document. not because of Obama grandstanding at a UN Security council?
it's not like he went on conan o'brien. he made a MAJOR move in plain sight. but hey man. keep talkin down on the messenger.
and p.s -. my days of "convincing people" stopped when Obama took office. now all I do is commentate on what is happening and pointing out things that I told people was coming years ago.
You can keep thinking his antics are just farse and being prententious but the man is on a course to shut down this country economically and military
and Did you people ever once think that Obama can get in that seat again and side with a vote AGAINST America?..yall ever thought about that possibility now that he's done it once? this was a test run, believe that.
