Every time I see the communist decorate a metal winner, I'm thinking, I bet they wish they could delay the ceremony until we get a real president in office, one who loves America...
I wouldn't want that sleazy b@stard near me..!!

I certainly do not agree with your childish name-calling rant, but you're entitled to your opinion (as ignorant and illiterate as it sounds to me ... what, pray tell, is a metal winner???).
Americans have the right to express themselves, and turning down an invitation to the White House is a perfectly legitimate way to demonstrate your disapproval of the present occupant of that mansion. I recall when President Reagan wanted to award the famous musical composer and lyricist Stephen Sondheim the Presidential Medal of Freedom, Sondheim politely turned it down. Sondheim despised Reagan, and even though it was a great honor, the musician did not want to accept any award or have to meet a man he so disapproved of.

This would be MY question..."why of all of the people he could invite to the WH would he pick the most trailer park, white trash of entertainment "sports" figures to invite?"
I mean really, invite Buddy Guy,invite Ed Stafford(there's an interesting SOB) or someone like that..not a pack of stooges worshipped by the lowest IQ herd in your Fiefdom..good grief.
President Barack Obama will honor NASCAR champion Jimmie Johnson and the 11 other Chase drivers from last year in a White House ceremony on Wednesday – but nearly half of the 2010 playoff contenders won't be there.
NASCAR said Thursday that five drivers – Greg Biffle, Kurt Busch, Carl Edwards, Kevin Harvick and Tony Stewart – will not be attending the White House visit due to "schedule conflicts."
They must be very busy people!
They've got more important things to do. I wouldn't want to go to the White House now.
The photo op is rather common. The sitting president has always done photo ops with NASCAR drivers. As for the drivers who skipped out, Stewart was still dealing with the Kevin Ward Jr. accident investigation. As for Biffle, Ku Busch, Edwards and Harvick, I have no idea if it was politically charged or not. This thread is about 20 pages too long
