This liberal "well, Bush did it" immature rhetoric is getting old.

You're right. But the question upper most in the minds of voters in 2012 won't be 'Who did what?' It will be "Were you better off four years ago?' And by that standard Obama loses in a landslide.

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies. … Increasing America’s debt weakens us domestically and internationally. Leadership means that “the buck stops here.” Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better."

Reagan was still blaming Carter as late as 1984 during his reelection campaign.

If Obama just took some accountability for some of his mistakes, i could respect him much more then i now do. But to always put blame on everyone but himself, does get quite old. A lot of people are responsbile for this mess we are in. But is OBAMA that much different then Bush, or does he know how to spend quite well himself. That is the problem, all these guys, promise us one thing, get elected, and what they have told us go's down the drain. Myaybe we need to hold our President's to a higher standard, i don't know anymore, but too many of my friends are struggling right now, and that i do not like. Obama's ego is much too big for the person he is. He could be a Hollywood Actor no problem.
