Gave the order, made our allies like us better, he kept the hunt on, kept Bin Laden and other enemies occupied, and many many other things that our President, as head of our armies and check on Congress, are supposed to do.
Really? What order did he give? Please provide a link to a believable source.
More accurately he's annoyed, belittled, and offended our allies. Attempted to throw multiple roadblocks in the way of those actually working to fight terrorism. Contributed to an even more divided and partisan Congress, and generally attempted to manipulate military efforts and sacrifices to his personal political gain.
It's nice that you're easily impressed with the claims of accomplishment this administration constantly spews. Sadly, actual events do not support their claims.

Annoyed and offended our allies? EXCUSE ME! Our reputation was in the toilet before he was elected.
Also, he managed to do what no one before him has ever done - effect some change on the healthcare reform front.
Oh, and that tiny thing that Bush said "yunno, I really don't think about it that much, I really don't care"...Osama Bin Laden!
This link is more a list of fails than positives. It's over a year old and proves his ideas didn't work long after conservatives said they wouldn't.
I'm not happy with either politicians from either side, but to say that Obama has been a success is ignoring facts. He's catered to the banks, corporations and special interest and screwed the rest of us.

Give Obama all the credit for catching Bin Laden (even though that is completely untrue) and ask yourself, is that enough? If you say yes, then nothing matters to you but Obama being the President regardless of his success. I'd rather have someone who does the job well, not well he does the job.
Hate to intrude on your liberal bliss with actual reality but Obama essentially thew England and Israel under the bus. He's done little if anything to improve our international reputation.
What change he managed to ram down the nation's throat with regard to health care has done as much if not more to further impoverish the country and enrage voters as it has done to provide any actual assistance. It remains to be seen how much of his healthcare reform will even be left in place by the time the lawsuits opposing it are finished.
Bush was correct about Bin Laden. He was one person that was little more than a figurehead. His death accomplished essentially nothing to reduce to threat of terrorist activity.
You're joking, right? He's accomplished more in his first term than any modern president since FDR. Seriously. That's just an objective fact. Whether you agree with what he's done is another story, but he's done a lot.
And to answer the question above, Obama actually gave the overall directive over a year before and was involved throughout the hunt and planning and invasion process. You really should educate yourself about current events.
BaHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Did anyone else or read this? Really, your saying it does not matter what you think but, the prez is right...
This is one post that says, who cares what/obama says or does, but you better agree with it.....cause obama said!!!!
What exactly did Obama do to facilitate the killing of Bin Laden?
Bush said in 2002, that he didn't think or care about Bin Laden. Its documented...kind of undeniable, which makes the right look even more delusional when they try and pretend Bush hunted down Bin Laden till the very end. You can go watch the clip on YouTube.
He closed the CIA wing who's goal was to capture and/or kill Bin Laden. He also said, along with nearly everyone else on the right, that he would not go into Pakistan (especially without permission) to get Bin Laden, and that it was reckless for Obama to even say that he would, let alone do it. Well, he and the rest of the right was wrong, and Obama was right.
Obama made Bin Laden's capture THE number one CIA priority. He sent an elite team into Pakistan without them knowing (which we now know was the right way to do it, since it appears they haven't been honest about their relationship with them, or us) and under his order, they took out Osama Bin Laden. Luckily, since he actually THINKS, he took a risk, we didn't just bomb the hell out of the compound, and it paid off tremendously with DNA proof, and all sorts of windows (via Hard Drives, documents, numbers, etc) into Al Qaeda. He deserves credit. He also showed great reserve by not "spiking the football", even though he had clear reason to do so. As opposed to the last guy who flew onto an aircraft carrier to celebrate the ending of a war we fought till the end of his term...
Um, you should be asking yourself about the 4000 lives lost plus in our US forces before you go posting such a cavalier question.
I lost 13 friends in the CH47 Philippines accident (google it), so I really suggest you should shut your damn mouth before you think again on this subject....about losing friends....
