wE have the word of two Hawaii Officials from the Hawaii State Department of Health, both of which were put into their place by a REPUBLICAN governor, and said GOVERNOR swore that Obama was born in Hawaii
The Director of Health confirmed that Obama's birth records are on file and they reflect that he was born in Hawaii. they have gone on record to state that the COLB that Obama has posted to his website matches the information that is contained within their records

of the 70+ birther trials in only 3 was obama a defendant. in each one of those the case was thrown out for lack of standing before it could go to trial. at best we are talking only a few hours of billable attorney time in each case. not much money spent there. hawaiian birth certificates are not public domain so no money would be needed to keep them from being released.
so bottom line...... unless he's got attorneys charging between $100,000-200,000 an hour i doubt he's spent the mythical 2million bucks.
Trump is pushing for an investigation because he is using this issue, and the people who believe in this silly birther nonsense to get tons of publicity for himself. Is anyone truly naive enough to think that Trump actually gives a crap where Obama was born?
Of course he does. If it is proven bambam was born in another country, he is toast even if Rocky and Bullwinkle run against him and Biden in 2012.

there are 12 zip codes in the honolulu area. all of them correspond to CT zip codes by switching the 9 to a 0 ( with the exceptions of 06818, 06821, 06822 and 06826. these zips aren't currently active ).

First of all, it could have been a clerical error when the application was entered into records (the zip code from the application may have been transposed). And also, Obama's father lived in Connecticut for a time, and he could have applied for the SSN on behalf of his son. There are numerous, rational explanations for the SSN to indicate a Connecticut origin. The idea that the social security administration is involved in some conspiratorial plot is completely irrational.
Could have been a Monday morning or late on a Friday afternoon, some clerk might have been drunk on the job, etc.
If it was not on the up & up I don't think the problem would have laid with the SS Administration.
The story also said that the number has never been issued but that it is the number on his Selective Service record.
