No doubt, Walker has completely ousted himself as being nothing more than a paid off goon of the Koch's. If he's smart he'll resign, but smarts is something Walker clearly doesn't have.

Um... the call CONFIRMS that Walker isn't in contact with Koch on any regular basis. Walker did not recognize the voice on the other end of the phone line wasn't Koch's.

Wisconsin's public works unions have already volunteered to make concessions, only to be shot down by Walker, the Boy Governor. He's making this issue into a personal vendetta, and popular opinion is against him...

Really? They've agreed to NOT collect the portions of their pensions that are underfunded or not funded at all? Link please.

Hardly.

How much did they give to Walker?

Do you know?

$43,000.

Whoopee.

See, the Left tried this "rich contributor" tactic before the 2010 election, you remember, all the "big" money flowing into the GOP coffers.

But they always seem to neglect to mention the union give almost 100% of tens of millions of dollars to the democrats.

My husband worked for a republican governor. I just find it interesting that a call like that could even get through to the governor without verification (not a common practice--I guarantee you). You're right, he didn't seem to know him personally, but he was sure excited to talk to him about state behind the scenes strategy. He won't return the calls of the Dem Senators to try to negotiate with him in good faith as colleagues, but if KOCH calls he's jumping up and down to give him all the dirty, scummy details on how he's going to try to trick them.

I smell a recall vote in the air, regardless of how this all turns out in the end...

Actually, I think that makes it worse. The fact that he was willing to take the call and engage in this type of mean spirited strategy discussion with a guy he doesn't know very well simply because his name is David Koch and his wallet is fat is the very epitome of cronyism in politics. It makes it look like he is not taking this action against the unions due to a principled stand but because he knows that it is what his corporate puppet masters require to keep the dollars flowing into his campaign coffers and friendly PACs.

This the beginning of the end for Walker and his supporters.

What the democrats are doing has nothing to do with democracy. They are thwarting the will of the people.

Any and all measures should be used against them.

Just ask yourself what you would be saying if these were republicans on the lam.

So this is the strategy that democrats across the nations will use - walk out, run, flee from their jobs and responsibilities because of legislation they don't care for.

He might know OF him, but it clearly was not a call from his "master", as the Left is fond of saying.
