My husband worked for a republican governor. I just find it interesting that a call like that could even get through to the governor without verification (not a common practice--I guarantee you). You're right, he didn't seem to know him personally, but he was sure excited to talk to him about state behind the scenes strategy. He won't return the calls of the Dem Senators to try to negotiate with him in good faith as colleagues
Negotiate with what? Doyle left Walker a $3.6 billion budget deficit.

I smell a recall vote in the air, regardless of how this all turns out in the end...
Not a chance, and I'll tell you why. Walker is on the side of the WI taxpayers. Where do you think the money comes from to pay for the public employee union workers' salaries and benefits? The taxpayers. Do you really think the taxpayers are going to recall Walker and elect a Governor that lets the public employee union negotiators screw them even more? Do you think the taxpayerswant to pay more taxes? Where on earth would you get that idea?
Those same words can be used to describe just about all of the Tea Party Republicans. It seems the only thing needed to be a rising star in today's GOP is a potent combination of ambition and stupidity.
We're on page 5, has anyone posted anything that he said that was actually wrong or incriminating or should we just assume that the ignorant *******s jumped the gun on this one again?
Um... the call CONFIRMS that Walker isn't in contact with Koch on any regular basis. Walker did not recognize the voice on the other end of the phone line wasn't Koch's.
He sure was willing to dance for his pimp, though. What an idiot you Repubs up in WI elected. Oh well, that's to be expected.

Line item 16.896 in the "Budget " bill, who would that be for? Why would he be quick to take a call from "Koch"? Maybe this will explain the impact of that.
