The inevitable reelection of President Obama will not create a civil war in the country but may cause a complete breakdown of the current structure of the neocon infested Republican party.

You completely forgot Pepsi vs. Coke. Or (he narrowed his eyes in suspicion) did you not mention that intentionally?

The racists are on your side.
I beg to differ. A considerable amount of animosity directed at President Obama is based on race. If you don't think that is true you are either blind to it or selectively chose to ignore it.

If the OP doesn't suggest that then I'll suggest it. It's part of the reason you have BIRTHERS.

These people refuse to believe under ANY circumstances that President Obama is an American citizen now matter how much proof is presented and how many legal challenges get thrown out of court.

Stick a fork in him... he's done!

The expiration on this sour-puss sour-milk lameasse is way past!

Jimmy Peanut, move over, Obooboo has just passed you as the most disastrous president of recent times!

Obooboo/Pelosi/Reid and their cohorts in destroying America will be the first ever to be tried and sentenced to long prison terms for malfeasance in office. After which they can look forward to permanent exile.
Can you say Kenya or Dante's Inferno?

Would you mind explaining to me who you think is going to get the Republican nomination for the President of the United States in 2012? If the Republicans can't nominate a candidate that has any traction outside of red states then they are toast. Also the Republican Party's stance of immigration has pissed off many Latino voters, the faster growing demographic in the country.

It would actually pave the way for a moderate political party that was more tolerant on social issues but more conservative on fiscal issues. That would appeal to a lot of Americans.

Actually the current Michigan governors race is a good example of this. Rick Snyder is the Republican nominee. He is socially moderate and NOT a darling of the Tea Party. His platform is very pragmatic and he rhetoric is not divisive. It turned out the other Republican candidates were all to the right of him ended up fighting amongst each other for the hardline right wing voters.

The problem in terms of electability that many Republican candidates have is that they have to turn so hard right to get the nomination of their party that when it comes to the general election they've alienated many voters in the center.

The Right does not need an excuse, their actions speak for themselves.

Exactly, opposing the hatred and bigotry of the left. Which is good enough action for me and mine.
