Rice's Roadhouse Menu

There's fancier stuff too.
Not sure of you age, but if you are at least my age then you probably know or have heard of Billy Rice who either owns or used to own it. His other place is Luke and Mike's Front Porch in Aspinwall.

Yes, I know Billy. He sold it a few years ago to open his place in Aspinwall.

I have to mention this to you foodie folks. I just had a Mexican sausage from Aldi with the plastic type skin that your remove. Those that know this type of sausage will understand. I have to say the Aldi one that is in the bacon area is the best I have ever had. It is really crazy good. I highly recommend it if you enjoy authentic Mexican. You are not going to get something like that around here, so get it while you can. Enjoy all.

I'm guessing you had Chorizo (chor-ee-so) sausage. I'll have to get some next time I'm at Aldi's. The Strip District Meat Market makes their own and it's really good, although not quite as spicy as I'd like.

When I think authentic Mexican Chorizo, I think Aldis'ss. Maybe I'll pick some up on my way back from McConnells's Mills's on my way to Sheetzs's.

So.... I found some good Mexican food this evening on my way home. Just this little nondescript place on the side of the road I have noticed a few times making my way around the Green tree Hill and 376 east construction traffic messes. Tonight I decided to satisfy my curiosity.

Has anyone else been to Mendoza Express on mansfield Ave? https://www.facebook.com/MendozaExpress/home

The Chipotle lime fajitas were fantastic. I'll be going back often.

I ate there once, but I didn't have the fajitas. The meal was ok. I remember being unimpressed. If I go there again I'll be sure to try the fajitas. It's very close to where I live.
