Matt, I sometimes forget that I'm sharing with people not from my own neighborhood. This casino/building is in the middle of a Freddrick Law Olmstead park. Mostly all of its design (all the way around) is of looking through, for that reason is how I lined up my picture.
For this reason as well is why I had not opted for B&W, because the green of the grass and the red of the bricks.
But here's the suggested B&W, thoughts? Which one is better? (any other advice is most appreciated)
I like the B&W version better myself, it grabs me more than the color version did. I still cant get past the trees (just me being anal) but the contrast between the solid black (or almost solid black) inside of the walls and the bricks that are in the sunlight is fantastic. The B&W really makes that pop.
I was in the middle of a delivery at Mansion Grove Apartments last week when I took the photo of the round brick mill. I only had a few minutes to snap and go. I think I took better photo's than the one I posted but it was the only one that showed the whole building. Right next to the round mill is Lick's old Mansion. Now all surrounded by apartments.
And especially, thanks for the 007 votes. That's all I ever need.
