As some of you may know, I'm traveling to Phoenix next month to check out the area. I'm leaning toward the MPC setting, so I'm going to continue a thread that TROJAN started in 2008, because I'm sure a lot has changed since then.

If you know any MPC's that aren't on this list, let me know and I'll add them (I don't see any in the Scottsdale area, if you know any there).

Hopefully this can become a helpful thread for everyone else looking for the same info I am too.

Thanks for the info so far! I want to add Dobson Ranch, but can't seem to find a way to edit my OP (the list)...is that possible at C-D?

Where will you be working? We live in Vistancia and the commute to downtown Phoenix becomes quite a grind unless you are driving in the after rush hour traffic. My friend here works for a law firm in Tempe and she works past 7 to avoid the traffic. Only takes her an hour or less when she does that. We do love it up here but we work out of the house.

No job lined up yet, but hoping for something in Scottsdale/Phoenix. Can't be picky with job locations though, but leaning against Verrado and possibly even Vistancia for the commute reason. Anthem looks great too, but it's just so far. Couple places in N. Scottsdale look pretty nice. Possibly Fountain Hills, but also a bit far.

Ahwatukee also looks nice (foothills) but a bit hesitant about the South Mountain area. How is it down there?

Ahwatukee is on the North side of South mountaib don't confuse it with the South side 2 different worlds that don't collide.

Haha, what? Ahwatukee is most certainly on the south side of South Mountain. The south side (if you're referring to South Phoenix, which it sounds like you are) is on the north side of the mountain.
