Correct. That is part of my thinking as well. If the area is to become an actual neighborhood it would make sense to have its own identity separate from the uninhabitable Industrial/Commercial/Office Park, which could retain the Navy Yard moniker.

Albeit, a much more expensive endeavor, it would make ever rail line in the area one transfer away from 30th Street Station. In a dream world this and the BSL extension would be built over the next 50 years, and drastically cut down auto traffic in/out of the city to NJ.

Yep that is what they are suggesting

And if the ACC lost (caty corner) ever gets anything this whole area would have some significant office space and a new residential tower (under contruction today it would seem).
