I'm definitely not a mummy slave. I used to be, when I was still with my child's father but I left him and now I'm with a partner who doesn't consider me to be his slave. I do the vast majority of housework but its my choice to do so and I don't mind it as I only have one child who is in a really easy stage at the moment so its barely any work for me at all (plus I enjoy cooking for my OH as he actually appreciates the meals I make). If I'm too tired or I'm ill then I'll rest and my OH will take care of the housework (he'll even take the day off work and take my kid out for the day if I'm really ill and need to stay in bed). I take a "day off" (well afternoon and evening) once a week and go do my own thing as I figure people that work gets days off, well so should stay-at-home-parents.
