I can't imagine a child not being smart enough to not know pour a second bowl or to not grab an apple or banana if still hungry after one bowl of cereal.
Cooking doesn't guarantee healthy. I know many families where the mother is obcessed with cooking and everyone is overweight and/or having heart attacks.
Exactly. I suspect there are underlying issues. The OP's posts sound like someone who has some type of eating disorder, whatever the reason it developed.
Fruit isn't something u offer someone if they're hungry, unless that's all u have. Neither is cereal. It'll take 4 bowls of nasty milk and sugar cereal to fill someone up.
PLEAZE ! Good parents don't always need to cook 3 meals a day..Don't you know most parents work..so they are not able to cook 3 meals a day.. Kids should be able to cook for themselves when they are old enough..
I don't cook my kids 3 meal a day..and no they are not overweight, they dont perform poor in school...In fact they are very healthy.
If you cook your kids 3 meals a day..so be it..We working parents don't.
Then don't expect ur kids to cook u anything when ur old and disabled. They will remember. I assume u feed them fine but I'm talking about parents who take the easy way out and don't care. The children will remember this forever. I remember back to age 2.
I think teaching your child that the word "you" is a 3-letter word, and expecting them to use it when presenting their thoughts in writing to the public, is much more important than whether or not they cook a 4000-calorie artery-clogging fat-creating breakfast or just a bowl of wheaties, some milk, and a piece of fruit on their way to school.

That's just me, though.
Because America is such a fat nation, people think of real food (biscuits meat potatos) and think of obesity, but there are many people who are active and healthy and can use 3000 calories a day. The more food, the more I can get done, the more productive I can be. Cereal and fruit doesn't cut it for breakfast.

Good. Then get your productive butt into the kitchen and make your own breakfast.
A suburban kid who isn't active and sits like a bump on a log doesn't need much food, but active people do.
My sons were both athletes. One was a track star and lives his life now training athletes. I can assure you, he wouldn't touch that crap if I paid him to eat it and this man can EAT like I have never seen.
I'm sorry your Mommy didn't love you enough to feed you plates of disgust all day every day but kindly zip your lips about the rest of us who may or may not know what we are doing.
