Indeed, Zim. Thanks for posting that happy birthday gif. MissFR loved it.

She loved that all my virtual buddies here wished her a happy birthday.

I love that we call her Miss Finster Ruffus! Too cute!

I just say "my son" "my daughter" "my husband" and the new resident is "the kid" (don't know what else to call him on here).

I can't do DH, DS, and DH. I know the D is supposed to stand for "dear" but in my mind it stands for "damn" when someone is upset. I can't get past that thought. LOL

Okay, to the stamping of the foot stage now....I WANT to go work OUTSIDE!! STOP RAINING!! It is a PLANTING day and I want to plant NOW!!! Yes, I AM whining and I don't CARE! LOL "Rain, rain go away, come again another day!!"...(like after everything is germinated and NEEDS water!) :-)

I'm loving it! You all make me laugh!

Hey, mm, did you end up taking a break and enjoying yourself yesterday or did you strive to make us all look bad and clean your house?

nah...I worked yesterday....I'll strive to make you all look bad today! LOL....right now I'm painting the first coat of paint in the guest room. Using up the paint color I decided against as a primer....I also took down the broken blind and will measure the window, go to Lowe's get the new paint color and a new blind cut to fit the window. How's that? Prom is tonight. DS is not going.....going to a baseball game instead...he will go to afterprom though. We'll go over to the school earlier in the evening and check out the decorations etc...they usually do a really cool job and it's kind of fun to go look before all the kids get there.

Whew! Okay, I think I'm caught up after reading all that. Glad everyone is okay!

mm - prom is tonight here as well. Surprise, surprise, mine isn't going.....

BTW - he set up an appointment with a counselor over at CU. I told him he needs to talk to someone to find out what he really should major in - I'm thinking it might be mechanical, with aerospace secondary. The fact that a year from now is graduation freaks me out a little bit.

To all those that are stuck inside today, so sorry! It's beautiful here. We ate breakfast on the deck, walked the dog, and now everyone is just sitting out there with there electronics!

I'm off to the greenhouse this afternoon! She's going to give me a "tour" and I'm going to meet the owner. I also need to find out what I am and might not be allowed to wear.....which sounds stupid but could be an issue.

That's great! You'll have fun working there. I liked doing it. I guarantee you won't be wearing good clothes, you're gonna get dirty there!
