And look at the outcome of fixing those problems....not give women equal pay, not have married working outside the home = women are now the meanest, hardest and most judgemental and detrimental people to other women. Now SAHM are judged and treated like dirt.

humiliate black people by not letting them have the same rights and privileges as whites, = now racism against white people is openly acceptable and downright encouraged.

It just seems like there are still no equal rights. There is no respect for home, people, family, country, or even self respect any more. It's all about bad behavior, odd behavior, blaming others, shock value and pushing the envelope.

Women were always like that kel lol. Women were just as catty when they lived at home as they are in the work place. And i do agree with the looking down as sahm mother syndrome...it is something that needs to be corrected. But i think we are far better off now then we were 50 years ago as well.

Yes these things exist, amongst some people. Some, but hardly not all.

I don't think that everyone went the polar opposite. That's an extraordinarily negative view.

It seems to me to a large extent that all of the things you've stated have just gotten the most attention. I don't agree that these things are universal amongst all Americans, and that everybody or even a large majority practices them as a rule. I mean you don't, for example, right?
Neither do I. So that at least makes two of us!

Honestly, I don't practice them but am confronted by them on a regular basis in daily life and through the media. I think it's more mainstream and widespread than most of us want to admit :-/
