Have you ever submitted a story or article for publication in a periodical? If so, was it published? I did for a church project. We were asked to make a submission and then a book was made out of all the submissions. I have a copy and I consider myself a "published writer".

Have you ever kept a diary or journal? Yes, as a teen.

On average, how many checks do you write in a month? At minimum, 2.

If you have a written to-do list, where do you keep it? On a list pad on the side of my fridge. I like to cross off the items as I complete them.

When reading a magazine or book, do you ever write notes in the page margins or circle or underline any of the content of what you're reading? Only in my personal daily devotionals or other study books so I can go back and reference things I want to remember or revisit.

When did you last use a highlighter? 2 days ago while doing a devotional lesson.

When you moved from one residence to another in the past, did you label boxes designating which room each should be placed in? Yes.

During your childhood did you - or anyone on your behalf - ever write your name in some of your articles of clothing? Not routinely, and not that I remember.

Did you ever write and pass a note to a classmate in school? Of course.

Do you write a shopping list before you head for the supermarket? If so, do you cross items off the list as you add the items to your shopping cart or basket? For this I use a list in my phone, and delete it as I put the item in my cart.

Have you ever written a love note to a sweetheart? No.

Have you ever submitted a story or article for publication in a periodical? If so, was it published? Yes, the school newspaper at high school and college.

Have you ever kept a diary or journal? Not really

On average, how many checks do you write in a month? None, all e-payments. My wife writes about two or three.

If you have a written to-do list, where do you keep it? Does my Yahoo or office Outlook calendar count?

When reading a magazine or book, do you ever write notes in the page margins or circle or underline any of the content of what you're reading? Yes but now I often scan the text and email it to myself.

When did you last use a highlighter? Today

When you moved from one residence to another in the past, did you label boxes designating which room each should be placed in? No. My wife did all that.

During your childhood did you - or anyone on your behalf - ever write your name in some of your articles of clothing? My mother sewed in name tags.

Did you ever write and pass a note to a classmate in school? Yes

Do you write a shopping list before you head for the supermarket? If so, do you cross items off the list as you add the items to your shopping cart or basket? Yes to both.

Have you ever written a love note to a sweetheart? Yes, if DIY cards on the computer count. My handwriting is illegible.

Have you ever submitted a story or article for publication in a periodical? If so, was it published?
No.

Have you ever kept a diary or journal?
Yes, I've kept diaries for a very long time, and then got into personal blogging (LiveJournal, Xanga) back in the mid 2000s. I still keep a LJ that is private to a close friend and I.

On average, how many checks do you write in a month?
0.

If you have a written to-do list, where do you keep it?
I don't, although I'll tell you I need to do this.

When reading a magazine or book, do you ever write notes in the page margins or circle or underline any of the content of what you're reading?
Nah.

When did you last use a highlighter?
I recall recently using one at work for some reason. That would have been at least a few months ago.

When you moved from one residence to another in the past, did you label boxes designating which room each should be placed in?
I designated them by what was inside them, I think.

During your childhood did you - or anyone on your behalf - ever write your name in some of your articles of clothing?
My grandma sowed my name into towels. I'm sure she did other things as well.

Did you ever write and pass a note to a classmate in school?
Yes.

Do you write a shopping list before you head for the supermarket? If so, do you cross items off the list as you add the items to your shopping cart or basket?
Yes and yes.

Have you ever written a love note to a sweetheart?
Nope. Too much of a coward to tell anyone I like them and I always have been.
