What we see/repeat in our brains day in and day out keeps that cemented in our brains. I know life isn't all positive, BUT For Most, more positive than negative.
No I don't want everything sugarcoated, but psychology tells us this about how smart our brains are and listen to what they see.

I totally agree. I am amazed when I see user names that are so negative, like, "IH8MiLife" or whatever (no offense if anyone out there actually has that name).
Our reality adjusts itself according to our thoughts on a daily basis and the more positive energy we can put out there, in whatever form, IMO the better. In fact, if someone was in a challenging period, I would suggest choosing an uplifting user name in order to get some positive energy going in their life.
T O T A L L Y....agree. One name in particular is forever going on about some of the great merits of the medical industry!!!! and that person's username...good grief that alone turns me off and away. You got a rep.
Usernames? I agree - few members had those. And as long they are not offending, we can't do anything about it.
However, I am not sure if those names actually reflect the person's state of mind. I think they are more likely seeking attention.
I am more curious about very long user names. I would have no patience to type a long username every time I log in, or write a comment.

I originally had my email address username as my CD name but after a while, I wanted to change it to something that was more catchier and not connected to my personal email address.
