To me it seems self explanatory.....The Maple Leaf has been Canada's national emblem for at least 200 years.
It is found on our flag, national coat of arms, coins, military ships and vehicles, stamps and it grows in every Province. All Canadian Police officers wear it on their shoulder rank badges , and it appears on their patrol cars. Even McDonalds locations in Canada have a maple leaf on their signs.

XXX.
Since you don't mention your location where you live, first thing that came to me, "he likes maple trees"...
We have no idea what part of the world a person resides if they don't list it.
So if a CD member has a screen name that is.....All hat no cattle, you wouldn't know that they are from Texas ? Or one that has the screen name of High Tea and Crumpets ...as being British ?
I'd rather not play a guessing game, some people put for Location: mayberry, what does that mean...or Heaven: what does that mean.
Why so secretive about location, even if one says the state only or country. A person's replys could really depend on where the person resides..cold country, hot country or where.
All hat, no cattle? Texas I thought there is plenty of cattle in Tx..
I'm Robert and my beautiful yorkie girl is named Ripley after the Sigourney Weaver character in Alien. Of course, most people think I named her after Ripley's Believe It or Not. NOT!!!!
The first forum I joined on C-D was the cat forum. At the time I had 7 cats living with me, so it was an easy one to come up with; cat-dad 7 times. Took me maybe 10 seconds to come up with it. My username my look a bit odd on other forums, but not any worse than many others I've seen. Don't care much anyway, and at least it's not negative at all.
The very first time I found C-D I was looking at the Los Angeles forum and I would come across people who needed questions answered about local real estate. Since I have been in L.A. real estate for 37 years, I chose the username LA Appraiser to let them know I knew something about the topic. After months went by, somebody actually complained that I was somehow soliciting business (can you even believe that?) and the Powers That Be made me choose a new name. So I chose JustMike, but of course that was already taken. So I made it JustMike77.
