If not, how did you survive? No big deal, then. Never heard of air conditioning.
Do you have air conditioning now and, if so, what temperature do you like to set it on? Only 2 window air conditioners since we have an old, 110+ yr. old house, with oil conversion hot water heat (no ductwork). The old, plaster walls are great insulators, and giant walnut trees shade our house, so we stay pretty cool.
How else do you keep cool:
-Open a window?
-Use a fan?
-Awnings on your house, its windows or over a deck or patio?
-Other? The covered front porch doesn't get too hot, unless the humidity is high. We spend all summer out there. In fact, I just scrubbed it, and the furniture.

If not, how did you survive?
Do you have air conditioning now and, if so, what temperature do you like to set it on? Yes and it depends, sometimes 70 is too cold, mostly 73 or so.
How else do you keep cool:
-Open a window? Only when it's cool and breezy, otherwise they are shut.
-Use a fan? I have 5 ceiling fans
-Awnings on your house, its windows or over a deck or patio? Front porch is covered, nothing in the back, an umbrella for the table on the deck.
-Other?

If not, how did you survive? Windows, doors open, minimal clothing and playing with the hose. We even would put the hose with a sprinkler on the roof to cool off the attic.

If not, how did you survive?
Do you have air conditioning now and, if so, what temperature do you like to set it on? Absolutely. It is a necessity here. Set temp varies...right now it's set on 76, later in the summer it will probably be set between 70 and 73 depending on the temps outside.
