Today's Question(s):
Which would you rather, a trip to the Arctic or to the Tropics? Tropics, more to see there.

When you were a kid and played pretend, what's something you pretended? I was Superman, then when I jumped off the roof of the house with my cape on, I learned the hard way I really wasn't a superman.

Tell us any reason the power went out where you were: Windstorm knocking out power poles.

Details if you have them, Has you or anyone you know been in a vehicle when it ran out of fuel? I did once many many years ago, walked to a nearby gas station and filled up a can of gas for .29 cents and returned to the car and added the gas. Then I drove back to the gas station and filled up the car's gas tank for about $4.00. Did I say many many years ago.

Bonus:
Something on your to-do list: Get a oil change for the SUV soon.

Something with a hook: Capt. Hook's right arm.

Something stirred: The pot. People keep telling me to stop stirring the pot.

Something shaken: The earth during an earthquake.

Foodie Questions:
Have you had these pasta shapes:
-Alphabet letters?
-Angel hair?
-Bow tie?
-Rotelle (little wheels)?
-Stars?
-Other? Spaghetto

Just for fun:
If you know, what nicknames (granny, grandpa, etc.) did your grandparents go by? Just Grandma, gramps died before I was born.

Today's Question(s):
Which would you rather, a trip to the Arctic or to the Tropics?
Tropics sounds good to me as long as it's not too humid or jungle-y.
When you were a kid and played pretend, what's something you pretended?
I borrowed my brother's pop gun and pretended that I was a soldier.
Tell us any reason the power went out where you were:
A tree fell across the power lines last week. It happened around 6:30 at night, and it didn't get fixed until 4:30 in the morning.
Details if you have them, Has you or anyone you know been in a vehicle when it ran out of fuel?
Back in the late 1970s I ran out of gas in my little VW Beetle on busy Van Ness Avenue in San Francisco. I forget how I got out of it. Maybe I called AAA, or someone gave me a push. That was the first and last time I let that happen.

Bonus:
Something on your to-do list:
Yard work, painting the kitchen, buying some flowers and planting some herbs in the pots on my deck; finish transcribing my handwritten diary into a Word document.
Something with a hook:
The back of my bathroom door.
Something stirred:
Sugar into a glass of iced tea.
Something shaken:
Drinks and ice in a cocktail shaker.

Foodie Questions:
Have you had these pasta shapes:
-Alphabet letters?
In soup
-Angel hair?
<----
-Bow tie?
<----
-Rotelle (little wheels)?
<----
-Stars?
In soup
-Other?
shells, elbows, tagliatelle, penne, ziti, fettuccine, pappardelle, orecchiette, rigatoni, lasagne, bucatini, linguine, canneloni. (Can you tell that I love Italian food? )

Just for fun:
If you know, what nicknames (granny, grandpa, etc.) did
your grandparents go by?
Just Grandma and Grandpa.

Thanks, bjh!

The longest was four days in the mid-1990s during a series of ice storms.

- Just grandma and grandpa, when I saw them which wasn't often. I wasn't close to them...

I only saw my grandfather on my mother's side maybe 3 times. My mother's mother died when she was a little girl from breast cancer.

Thanks, bjh.
Hope everyone has a good Thursday!
