Have you ever completely lost a day, or a large part of a day like I did today... or perhaps turned up for an appointment on the wrong day? Or gone to work on Saturday, thinking it was Friday. Or turned up at the airport a day early or late for your flight? Please share any such incident (or similar) that you recall.
I once slept for 24 hours woke up not knowing what day it was. I had worked the previous 24 hours.

About 2 weeks ago walked along a path beside the ocean that is a county park. It was Great!

I remember getting the date wrong for an airport shuttle reservation. The day of my flight, I was wondering where the shuttle was. Finally, I called them and found out my mistake. At that point, I had 2 hours to get to the airport and check in. I made it but, the lady in the short term parking looked at me in disbelief when I presented my parking ticket. I ended up paying close to $100 for parking there over 3 days.

When was the last time you walked in a city or town park? I think its been 5 or 6 years. I remember doing a trip to New York City where I walked through Central Park to get the Tavern on the Green restaurant. I had a reservation for lunch there. It was surprising. It doesn't look impressive from the outside but, it is on the inside.

How old were you when you first started wearing a wrist watch? Probably when I joined the Air Force. You have to be on time for various functions there. I remember losing a very nice Seiko watch because I took it off to wash my hands (it wasn't waterproof) and, I forgot to put it back on. When I realized my mistake and went back to get the watch, it was gone.

Did you know that there is a gift for retirees that is a clock with no numbers? It has the days of the week on the clock. That is because there are no weekends, blue Mondays or hump days (Wednesday) when you are retired and except for holidays where you get company or travel, there are no holidays, either because every day is a holiday. When I sit down at my PC the first thing in the AM, I wave my cursor arrow over the time to check what day it is. I rely on my calendar a lot for appointments and classes. I've had lost days but never had a problem due to a lost day.

When I had major surgery one times years ago I lost a whole day because of the drugs they had given me.

I once turned up for a regular appt. on the correct day-except for the fact that the usual appt. had been canceled, which I had written down ahead of time, but had then forgotten to check-
so I was sitting there waiting for my appt. and was finally told by the receptionist that I didn't have an appt. after all-then I checked my engagement calendar and went "whoops !".

I often have days where it "feels" or seems like a different day of the week, and I have to keep reminding myself of what day it actually is.
