gOOD MORNING PEEVERS.

wELCOME TO THE WEEKEND AND TO ONE OF MY REGULAR MISTAKES.

cAPS LOCK.

There's no light on the keyboard warning that it is on, and my typing 'skills' are such that I look at the keyboard and not the screen when I type.

Does this happen to you?

Let us know, because the POTD is;

cAPS LOCK ON.

I'm running out of novel photos to show you, but I thought that some of you might find the following link, with associated photos, of interest.

It's of a lovely stately home with marvellous gardens and grounds. You may have seen the grounds in movies like Pride And Prejudice;

What an impressive mansion!

Caps lock can be annoying. My keyboard has a light on the caps lock key, but I still turn it on or off sometimes by accident.

Maybe you could get a different keyboard, Jezer? I have a friend who's gone through about four different keyboards trying to find one that he likes.

Mine doesn't hide them, I can see them quite clearly.... I just can't get the buggers out.

Good peeve, Jezer. It's so easy to accidentally hit caps lock and it can cause all kinds of problems, especially when working in databases. Did that once when entering an image ID and it was supposed to be all lowercase - caused the slideshow photo gallery to have a hole/dummy image.

This is a great peeve Jezer! It happens to me all the time, but I do catch it right away. It's just irritating to stop my flow of thought to unclick the caps button, then go on. I wish there were a lock for that thing. I rarely use it for anything, and it is just an annoyance on the keyboard.

The link is fabulous Jezer! Awesome variety! I will be wandering around that site for a long time! Thank you my friend!

A side note:
A friend of mine recently got a "Speak and type" program because their eyesight is failing. So far it has taken him a little time to get it going, but now he is quite happy with it. It reads for him as well as types for him. Awesome! He also told me that his youngest daughter uploaded the same program to use while she is tending to her home business. She can have the program write her notes she is verbally writing while she is working on the items she builds at home. Talk about a wonderful way to multitask! Wow!

Have a wonderful day everyone!

Now all we need is a key that will just UNCAP it without erasing what you've just typed!

Good peeve!!!!
