Good morning peevers.

It's a long weekend here and the weather is holding up at the moment.

(By the way, I hope all works out well for the Eastern Seaboard.)

Hmm- I'm a bit peeveless but I wondered about the situation where you have a power outage, which is annoying enough but then you get this peeve-

Having to reset electrical items after a power outage.

Meaning clocks I reckon..... They do have those that will reset automatically. If you have power going on and off you should unplug anything with a compressor. Refrigerator, freezer and window A/C's. Computers boot up slowly PIA.... at least mine does! Good morning Jezer. Yes, I hope all our friends along the east coast stay safe.

Already plan to unplug our appliances when the power goes out because of the hurricane. Notice I said WHEN and not IF? It's pretty much a given around here...power outages are going to take place.

Good peeve and good tip too.

Knowing in advance is one thing and unplugging to hopefully protect expensive electronics is a good safeguard but when these unexpected outages take place is when it's frustrating I agree!

Don't ya love it when the power goes out, and just when you think it is safe and you reset everything......it goes out again?

Happens here all the time...... think thunderstorms. What's really hard about it is getting them all set at once.....not a minute early......not a minute late. I want them to all change at the same time.

Yep, good peeve. We have a bunch of clocks and synchronizing them is a pain. Then the TV's and DVR's etc. need to be reset too.

Annoying for sure. We've had an easy summer here. Really only one thunderstorm, which is unusual. Thanks, Jezer.
