Last minute hitches before going away.

At the last minute we would hitch up our horses at the hitching post and go check and make sure the other horses were locked in the corral. Sometimes when it was raining we had to rein them in and take them into the barn.

I'm always a bit jittery when we leave on a trip.

Is the mail stopped?

Is the cat being taken care of?

Is the paper stopped?

The stress right before leaving starts the night before in our home. "SOMONE" does not even start packing until very late at night, and then by midnight he is doing a "last minute" load of wash.

I am saying to myself WE LEAVE AT 5 AM!! Why is he still up at midnight and why didn't he wash clothes before this? Then I end up stressing out. So I have learned to just be quiet and let things go.

That would be me too. I can't sleep before I have to fly so I might as well make sure everything is done. It helps me relax from the fear of flying. Love those pony pictures Jezer. Thanks
