Good morning peevers.

You may realise that my life is currently dominated with having a disrupted house due to many workmen coming in. Stuff is stored all over the place, but no matter what state your house is in have you ever had this happen; you can't find something so you go out and buy another one, and hey presto! you then find the thing you couldn't find!

Today's peeve;

Ending up with duplicate stuff.

Yep! It's happened to me too. I'm a duplicator though so it doesn't bother me too much. I'm one who stocks up on things usually going overboard ....

It does depend what it is. If it is something I will use later, then I put it safely away. If not, than I am stuck with it. Good peeve.

Ending up with duplicate stuff.

I just realized yesterday that hubby has two maroon dress shirts that are almost identical. The bad part is he rarely dresses up.

Over 20 years ago we started building our house, when your in a hurry and you cant find something you just go get another one, it's quicker. We are STILL finding stuff!!!

My problem is I usually don't find the duplicate until a week after I've purchased the replacement.

We have a storage area where we put duplicate items. It's our back up system so we're never out of what we need, like various sundries TP, soap, Kleenex etc.

But on the other hand spouse occasionally forgets and buys stuff that duplicates what we have and probably will never need.

That's "Murphy's Law" #42, Jezer.

"You will find that item you misplaced and have been diligently searching for just as soon as you go out and
buy another one."

Our motto is "I" got it if I can find it", I usually can't find it, so we end up with duplicates.
