Good morning peevers.

Those fencing panels finally arrived, I'm pleased to say, so it's on with that job today- photos to follow.

Talking of photos, I've been going through the hundreds and hundreds of 'proper' ohotos that are stored in a big box, and looking to file them in some kind of way.

As I look through them I'm pleased to say that most of the time I recognise the place, the people, the event etc.

Sometimes and don't and I'm scratching my head as to what that was all about.

How about you?

Ever looked at a photo and wondered who that was, where or when it was taken, what the occasion was?

Let us know because the POTD is;

What was that photo all about?

I'll post some shots taken here in the last week.

I'm highly chuffed (pleased) at the shot I got of the egret.

Here's what I'm looking to block out with the new fence, as it is just a boggy scrubby bit of land and I've set up a little seating area this side;

I'm really chuffed off at some of my photos!

Yeah I recognize all the photos I took. It's the ones from my mom's collection I am lost with.

One of the dinosaurs is like a library full of Darwin crap. I have the grand kid in one of those dinosaurs mouths in a pic somewhere.

I was going through some photos after my mom passed and ran across some pics of me taken in the early 80's. My first thought was 'who's that freak with the hair and clown makeup' turned the picture over and it said 'Joy New Year's 1982'

It’s amazing that I’ve taken so many pictures and never know what they’re about a month later. Worse,,,,,,, only one is worth keeping and the others just need to be discarded.

Your egret pic reminded me to upload a pic I took yesterday testing my teensy new pocket camera. I see a lot of egrets wandering around parking lots. Looks like this one just came out of the tanning salon. Maybe tired of being so white, eh?

Several years ago in a move, a box with pictures was somehow lost and it included my collection of people pics and many nature pics taken myself. So what I now have I know who, what and where everything was taken.
