I was in Cairns a few weeks back. There it was a flock of parrots or something keeping everyone up at night. They all stayed in one tree and made noises for hours.

I suppose this one is self-inflicted.

I'm a reader. I take a book to bed with me at night and read for a while. There have been times when something happens in a book that is distressing and I can't sleep because of it.
