You could play basket ball on the outdoor courts at school on the weekends and holidays. No one cared and no damage was done.

Back in the day food tasted like it should. Cast iron cookware was the thing and it had no teflon aftertaste.

Back in the day: as a young boy you could play marbles with the neighbor kids in the dirt. You could get dirty and not get into trouble. You didn't have to worry about plugging anything into the power outlet or changing batteries. No one got mad or argued, and their was something special about laying in the dirt under the shade tree with friends that made the day worth while.

Mom always smiled when you can inside!
