Good morning peevers and welcome to Friday.

It's another lovely morning here and I've been out in the garden watering the tubs from our water butt. Maybe I'll post a piccie.

It is a lovely time of the day to pootle around as it is quiet except for the birds and some nosey cows coming up.

My POTD is for pretty much everyone, myself included, a totally unrealistic one, and possibly a selfish one.

With that proviso, todays peeve is;

Disturbance of the peace.

O.K Disturbing the peace! Yep, loud music late at night especially......irritating! Plenty other forms ...but that would be most common here! Morning Jezer!

Let's get some things straight before we have another transatlantic misunderstanding!

Water butt- a container for water. Check.

Piccies- pictures. Check.

The last word should actually be pootle, so I spelt it wrongly in the first place. My bad- make that my mistake.

Pootle is to wander round in a relaxed manner.

It's always peaceful around here, except the ocassional shooting, stabbing, murder, burglary, hold up, politcal arguing, fireworks, boom boxes, horn honkers, etal. But that's normal for any big city here in the US.

I love the sounds of nature but man can sure mess it up Right now I am listening to the rain and the birds...lots of birds. It's very peaceful and then the intrusion...the compressor on the refrigerator
