Good morning posters and here we are at the weekend again.

Yesterday was the warmest day of the year so far with the thermometer hitting the upper 50s!

I've had one or two suggestions posted to me concerning motoring peeves, and I've tended to stay off them as I could spend a year going on about them.

However here goes- of all the things that go on out there, one sticks head and shoulders above all others in my mind;

Tailgating.

I think you use the same expression- following too close to the vehicle in front.

Nothing like someone trying to drive into the trunk or boot.

I hate it even worse when someone cuts in front of me and I end up tailgating them.

Can't stand tailgaters...they drive me crazy, and yep it's just as bad when someone cuts me off, and I become for the moment, the tailgater. Being a passenger with a tailgater is scary too--my BIL actually thinks he's a great driver, although he's caused a few nudges...

The only time tailgaters bother me is when they don't offer me something to eat or drink.

I like the bumper sticker that says, "If you get too close I'll flick a booger on your windshield!" EEWW!

There are times when I tailgate. Like when some dweeb is driving 60 miles an hour in the left lane on a 65 or 70 mph road.

If you can't see well enough to read the speed limit sign or your speedometer perhaps you should park that car and walk...

Hit the brakes hard on a tailgater today, laughed my butt off when he swerved and jumped the curb.
