Way back long ago I went to an assembly where hundreds of people were there. We sat in front center. The guy that was giving the talk kept staring at the girl next to me (go figure, my friends would do this!) because her t-shirt said 'Objects Under This Shirt Are Larger Than They Appear'. Yes, I do believe he was a little distracted, lol.
Gotta love these college kids who find Tshirts that'll say something like, 'UNC: the best 6 years of your life." I hope never to see my daughter in one.
Although, you know, college is right up there with 'the best years of your life." Or, it was for me, but I did mu undergraduate work in the usual four.
No matter who you are voting for this fall, you've definitely been exposed to some of the crazed coverage of the 2008 presidential race. The race has become a little more focused in recent weeks, as John McCain has secured the Republican nomination. But, you still can't seem to change the television station or pick up a newspaper without seeing some information about the race. In fact the race has even beat out many stories typically in the news, like Paris Hilton or David Archuleta of American Idol fame.
Entrepreneurs on sites like Cafe Press, T-Shirt Hell, Road Kill Shirts and Inappropriateshirts.com have taken the opportunity to create a number of very funny shirts to market to people taking sides. Although the candid humor seems to take no sides, it appears as if the shirts promoting Barack Obama outnumber those designs promoting Hillary Clinton. And, the designs making fun of Hillary seem to go all the way back to 1995 and older. Even displaying an old photo of Bill and Hillary entitled Billary, where Bill and Hillary are dressed as hippies from the 1960's.
The many designs vary from the very witty plays on words, "Barack's Caucus Bigger Than Hillary's" to the stylized text proudly displaying the owner, "Obama Girl". Many designs also take some creative liberties with the logos of either of the candidates, replacing the more official words "Hillary For President" with "Hillary You Go Girl". And, no subject seems to be taboo, as one of the shirts proclaims "Hillary Sucks! ...but not as well as Monica".
