Big KUDO's to you my friend, making the effort is good enough for me. Oh, and by the way, we called the Coast Guards (Puddle Pirates) or Knee Deep Sailors .

Puddle Pirates; that's hilarious! But with all seriousness every branch has a great purpose. I once had the privilege of witnessing a demonstration of the US Army Rangers at Fort Bragg. These men were something to behold. Not only were they the most physically imposing people I have ever seen as a whole, they were of superior intelligence (they each spoke 3 languages) and were very highly specialized military men. It was awesome.

ALL services are special. Any man or woman who serves is special as well.

God Bless our Armed Forces and the men/women who serve!

Your right about that, all branches of the military are like cell in a battery, if one goes bad it hurts all the others. We learned the we actually needed each other.

A salute to all veterans of all the wars! My father was WWII Army soldier, my husband was in the Air Force in Vietnam, both deceased. And I just said goodbye to my school/best friend who was a Marine in Vietnam who passed away nearly two weeks ago. A big thanks to the Patriot Guards who arrived on Motorcycles and with flags to honor the fallen Marine!

Terry Williams, 64, USMC, Vietnam Veteran, Chandler, TX, 17 MAY 08 > Patriot Guard Forums - Americans Doing the Right Thing > Patriot Guard Riders

Thank you to all Veterans and their families, your sacrifice is appreciated, beyond words!

LadyRobyn,

Thank you, it isn't easy to lose a loved one! God is carrying me and is taking good care of Terry!!

Yes, they are Angels on Wheels! Terry's widow and family were so blessed to see the Patriot Guards honoring their loved one and Marine.

This was my privilege and honor to recognize this group of wonderful Veterans!

Default The Gratitude Campaign

A way to say Thank You to our Veterans. When I see a soldier in Uniform, I always say thank you! There is a campaign to sign thank you to them.

Click on either short or full length movie on webpage.

As the late great General Douglas MacArthur once said, "No one Prays for peace as much as a soldier does".

God Bless all those that served and all those that supported those that served and are in service.
