Yeah... We've been listening to the scanner, FD and PD are still on scene. Lots going on tonight in town. They are both stretched thin and calling in reserves.

I will vote for your picture if you get a different one, Redbird.

Sorry about your steakhouse, Duncan posters. Things are rough most everywhere right now. I think all the emergency responders need a big thank you for all their continuing hard work. Maybe they need some hams or snack trays delivered to their departments to show our appreciation this Christmas season.

I am entering the photo contest just for fun. Maybe I can take a picture of an OG&E guy with a santa hat on working on the lines! Things are not so cheerful looking, but I might find something.

Take a picture of something really creative, like a rain drop about to fall from a leaf. Use the high speed setting on your camera. I did that awhile back and caught the most interesting image. It was of a water droplet falling from my faucet at super close range using the highest shutter speed on my camera. It is REALLY, REALLY neat.

Speaking of photos. I took this one almost a year to the day at the local park. I like it. I used the high speed manual over-ride on my camera. It's nothing spectacular, but I thought the ducks both going under at the same time was quite interesting. I tried to find the water droplet but I deleted it already.
