Default A Funny One

A little girl asked her mother, 'How did the human race come about?
The Mother answered, 'God made Adam and Eve, they had children and so all mankind was made .'
A few days later she asks her father the same question. The father answered, 'Many years ago there were monkeys and we developed from them.'

The confused girl returns to her mother and says, 'Mom, how is it possible that you told me that the human race was created by God and Papa says we developed from monkeys?'
The Mother answers, 'Well, dear, it is very simple. I told you about the origin of my side of the family, and your father told you about his side.

Default I want a new job!

Anybody ever get tired of their job, but say to themselves, I can't quit this job! I've got BILLS! I've got x amount of years! I'm not starting over!

Now, I already know people like Synopse and CG have marketable skills, but the rest of us, kind of have to find a niche.

I think you should follow your passion. When I was young, I used to want to be a writer. I am going to start writing again.

I have never written for the sole purpose of getting published. I know an awful lot of very good writers out there who are not published. So, being published is not the end all for me. It is the process, like being a painter, or a photographer. It feeds the soul.

How's the job search, Synopse, MK, Colleen, and CG?

First speaking of Writers, I want to say,,,,,,, "Synopsis", the title "Professional" is beneath you. There was no confidentiality agreement, so I just have to let the rest of you know. I may have said this before, that this was the first resume I've ever written, and I never dreamed I'd have to write one, and my first time job hunting since "1988". Synopsis offered to look over my resume and spuce it up for me, so I sent It to him.
The wording and formatting is excellent. Today I checked out 3 jobs, one was at a Holiday Inn for Maintanence Manager. The Supervisor took my application and resume, then he made a double take on the resume, sat down and read it completely through before we spoke. I never seen anyone just take a glance at my other ones. Thank You Synopsis.
Did anyone ever wonder why he uses the user name "Synopsis"?

Anyway, It's seems that I'm being put in the catagory of "over qualified". So I'm seriously thinking about changing careers. I enjoy this line of work, but this isn't California so it's seasonal. I have to face the fact that Seasonal work don't pay my bills.

It's going, but not too well. My last job with the Division of Taxation was in a call center, and I don't want to do that again. It's really a brutal job. Unfortunately, though, every place I apply for a job (Cox, Hartford, MidFirst Bank) wants to put me back in a call center. Lowe's didn't work out because I didn't want to work Sundays and not past 5:00. Retail doesn't like fussy employees

I went to a substitute teacher's training session at Mustang schools Monday. Once I get all my paperwork in, and they do a felony check, I can sub, but that's only until the end of the school year (May 23rd). Doug's had a couple of good interviews that we're waiting on.

Anna has an interview with Mustang Recreation for a summer day camp job. Since Scott's working, we figure if we can get the kids to work, they can support us for a change!
