Yes, everyone has opinions, but some are better argued, and thus more valid, than others. You still haven't answered the question of why not choosing to have children makes them deficient. Of course gay people can, and do have children through surrogates, but even if many of them choose not to, how does that make them deficient?

Maybe he wouldn't suggest that, but I would say it outright. Yes. It's a hypocritical, lazy position most likely either based on ignorance of biology or ancient belief systems.

Extremism in Islam is pretty much the same as extremism in any religion, whatever the results. Christians aren't immune and we see that every day.

Yes, considering that science and psychology disagrees with that position. You have nothing to support that viewpoint whatsoever.

I'm sure if you gave your position to the average Sub-Saharan African, Middle-Easterner or Jamaican, you'd probably fit right in. But none of those places are exactly hotbeds of rational thought, science and equality, are they.

I will say this however, I do believe most of Americas problems and negative social issues, can be directly attributed to the breakdown of the American family. too many babies not having tools to succeed. too many babies with no fathers or mothers. kids that don't know who daddy is. nobody is teaching johnny right from wrong. nobody making sure johnny does his homework and goes to school. uneducated children having more children, and the cycle is worsening. entitlements and the expectation that the working stiff should fund these folks with our tax dollars. why don't we fix or fight to fix this root cause? ... oh that's right, we as a country are still arguing about abortion and gun control instead of the root cause, imo "the breakdown of the American family".
I'm pretty sure you probably missed some minorities you didn't stereotype and malign. BTW, you say you don't care about gay marriage either way, but you went ahead and publically aired your opinions about gays. Do you really think that, if the issue to overturn the Ohio ban next year moves to the ballot, you will simply stay home because you don't care enough to go vote to keep it in place?

Well, not quite. You see, there is a difference between reason (the basis for the word 'rational') and straight opinion. A rational statement is rooted in logic and fact. In this case, the fact is that gay couples are productive members of society who can and do raise other people's discarded children into healthy, productive adults.

A blind opinion is usually rooted in an irrational belief. Those who are anti-gay tend to be of the belief that the mere tolerance of gays on their part will result in ever-lasting damnation at the hands of a supposedly benevolent god who creates all humans in his likeness. So, basically, their 'great' god will damn them if they tolerate other people's non-violent, consenting and productive behavior even if those people are also "god's children." That is about as irrational as it gets as it is based in zero logic and is absolutely devoid of provable fact.

^ Im sorry you guys have your panties in a bunch about my belief that being gay is NOT NORMAL.. im truly sorry but really don't care . im not putting you down or trying to put the lifestyle down.. science suggests something is "off" during the development of the fetus.. in Africa the "gaY" animals are considered the weak species and are eaten. whatever, im done with this conversation.. a few of you have shown anyone that disagrees with gay being normal is "backwards". I however think putting a penis in a vagina is more normal then putting a penis in a mans arse. have a good day.
