I seen this job on a web page that says...Housekeepers and Kitchen help for man camps. I can't find anymore info on this type of work. I am interested in working I can't find the right jobs i can do. If anyone can help me out that would be great. Thanks!
lynmur... the first 2 links are for current man camps just in Williston alone. There are others scattered throughout Williams county, and smaller ones in Williston. Halliburton has a large one that sits on their superyard east of Williston...it houses around 200 people. The article in the Williston Herald will tell you what is coming up this summer. 4,500 new man camp beds. nearly 3,500 will be in the Tioga area (45 miles from Williston) and the remaining new 1,000 will be around Williston. You could contact Job Service ND in Williston to get more information. Good Luck!

lynmur...here is the article on the 2,500 man camp that will be built between Tioga and Ray (about 35 miles or so from Williston)...they do not list a web site, but they do list the name of the company who is building it. You maly want to watch for Help Wanted in the next couple months. I'm sure they will be hiring many people to run this huge camp. I do not know about the housing situation for their employees, but I believe some of the mancamps do offer housing for their employees on site. Good Luck!
Those positions have been filled the day after they posted the openings. They do have openings for clean up work in Minot. It's a tough market even in a boom town for women who want to make more than $9 an hour!

So if I called Executive Services tomorrow she's going to tell me that those positions are filled? LOL... somehow I doubt it.
And I'm making $13/hr and could easily be making more if I wanted to take on a more stressful position. If you can't make over $9/hr up here it's because you don't have any skills and are at the same level as someone just out of high school. Even then, though, you'd have to be selling yourself short since even McDonald's pays more than that.
I agree Lisan23... I don't think they will ever fill all the posistions at the mancamps, as fast and as many that they are setting up in NW North Dakota. They are working on a few thousand new beds as we speak. The county (Williams county) even is debating whether they need to say "no more". But I don't think they really should...those mancamps would just go to another county. And Williston could lose some of the potential new companies moving in if they can't put their employees up close to where the shops and businesses are located. Mancamps are temporary, I hope Williams county just rides it out until permanent housing catches up.
Does anyone know of any jobs like that down by Watford? Thanks.
